Primary 6A Learning Highlights 20/5/25

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week we have been focusing on finding fractions of an amount in numeracy. We enjoyed sharing our strategies in number talks.

Our class designed pictures outlining our hopes for the future . The whole school took part in this activity, as part of the 2025 Jubilee.

Primary 6 started our new topic based on peace and conflict. We discussed the meaning of the terms and designed posters.

During outdoor learning, we enjoyed learning how to start fires in the fire pit, weaving and den building.

Primary 6, continued to read our class novel entitled ” The ShadowSmith” and we enjoyed making predictions about what will happen in the next chapter.

Congratulations to John, who is our reading champion for the next two weeks and Ignancy who was nominated our hot chocolate winner.
