P6B - WB 01.12.25

Dear Readers,

We hope you are all very well!

In Primary 6B our highlights for this week were:

  • Spelling work and weekly spelling assessment, which we love!
  • Big Maths, beat that! – we always get excited with the idea of doing it and also like dancing to its music!
  • Scottish Dance – although some of us were being a bit funny about this at the beginning, most of us can now admit that we absolutely enjoy doing Scottish Dancing! It’s a lot of fun and David always comes to help when we’re not sure! The whole class have been having a great time and have already learned 3 different dances! Amazing!
  • We have also been enjoying our Rotational Symmetry lessons and feel that it makes more sense to us and has become much easier as we continue learning about it!
  • Watching P5s rehearsal for their big Enterprise Assembly and thinking back about how we felt last year when it was our turn to do it ourselves!
  • Learning (again) about St Andrew’s life and understanding why he became one of the Patron Saints of Scotland! Although most of us have been learning about this from Primary 1, nobody seemed to remember so we did spend a generous amount of time working on it and double checking that all of us really understood who St. Andrew was and why he has been chosen to be our Saint. We also enjoyed the Irn-Bru and cookies that were given to us by the school!
  • The 2 Hot Chocolates awarded today were from last week and this week, since last week we had a big group of children ‘borrowed’ by another teacher at the end of the day and couldn’t do it.        So, many, many congratulations to Anthony, for being kind and cleaning up after other children, even from different tables! Many congratulations as well to Aaeryn-Leigh for setting a great example of how to be in class and also for her patience as the End of line leader! It is not easy and sometimes she says exactly that!
  • Congratulations as well to David, Rowan and Kacper for having the Best Table of the week! they have been trying really hard to behave, listen and tidy up properly!

Mrs Valente’s highlights of the week were:

  • Watching us having fun while dancing! It’s very enjoyable to see!
  • P6A’s Advent Service in the Area.
  • All the times that we know how to listen and then create amazing work across the curriculum!

That’s all for now, we say goodbye wishing everyone a super weekend with love and peace!❤❤
