P1 this week

WOW! What amazing performers we have in P1. Our nativity on Wednesday was amazing! Everyone played their parts brilliantly and the singing was so loud. We are very proud of them all. Thank you to all our adults who came in to support us during our performances, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We attended mass on Thursday morning to sing some of our nativity songs to the congregation. They were full of praise for our wonderful singing.

Well done those in our class who made a nativity scene in a box, they are very impressive. Here are a small selection from our class.

We have started to do some Christmas crafts this week, we will not spoil our surprises and are all excited to bring them home next week to show you all we have made.

We have worked on the sounds u and d and have been learning to write these letters correctly and to use them when reading and writing words. Don’t forget to be practicing sound and high frequency flashcards at home to help with this also.

We all came to school a wee bit crazy today, everyone looked fab. I particularly loved Franek’s pilot/plane costume.

Well done to Dawid for winning the Hot Chocolate award this week.
