Primary6 A Learning Highlights 7/3/25
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been learning all about decimals this week! Our class has been revising our knowledge of decimal place value. We have also been comparing and ordering decimals numbers, some of us found this tricky!
Our reading comprehension was based on biodiversity and ecosystems. We used strategies to find the correct information in the passage.
During R.E we learned about Ramadan and Eid, we all found it very interesting.
On Thursday, most of us wore something yellow and raised money for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. It was also world book day, so we visited our buddies in Primary 1. We helped them complete their scavenger hunt and had fun participating in a Kahoot with them! Our class watched an author event with Ross Mackenzie, based on the Otherwhere Emporium. Afterwards we created our own magical shop with floor plan and shop front.
Every day we have been participating in our Big Lent Walk and as a school hoping to walk 2000km!
Congratulations to Mason on being our Hot Chocolate winner this week.
Have a super weekend !
