Primary 7A Learning Highlights 29/8/2025
Dear Parents and Carers.
This week we did lots of interesting and fun activities. In science and technology, we made marble runs. We had to demonstrate our run working and explain why specific features had been included. Our class topic is Japan and we learnt about all the different regions and what they are famous for. We created our own information posters using our notes from the video we watched. We also made sushi in class which was good fun! House and Vice captains presented a task during house groups this week. Some of us were a little nervous but we all performed well! Outdoor learning was interesting because we built dens, litter picked and created our own amazing recipes in the mud kitchen ! During maths we learnt how to draw our own grids and plot coordinates accurately. In literacy we developed our knowledge of the rules for making words plural, some of them were tricky! Our class continued to read our class novel ” Skellig” and answered a variety of questions based on the text.
Congratulations to Sophia who was nominated our hot chocolate winner for going “ over and above” this week!
