P1a Learning Highlights 10th October 2025

This week in Literacy we were learning the sound ‘t’ we listened to the story of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ and we then sequenced pictures to retell the story.  We made tigers and tiger masks. We practised writing t and could recall words that begin with t.

In maths we looked at the numbers 13 and 14 we practised writing them the correct way.  We also worked on numbers before, after and inbetween within 10.

In Religion we have started learning the ‘Hail Mary’ prayer.

We looked at a piece of work by Kandinsky and then used Autumn colours to create a piece of Autumn art.  They turned out amazing and we have them proudly displayed outside our classroom.
