P3 Week Beginning 6th October 2025
Hello P3 families,
Here are our highlights this week from The Polar Bears:
Vikashini enjoyed lying down on the carpet of leaves in the woodland and looking up, as a bug would, to see the lovely trees above. Next week we plan to make autumn pictures of trees from the perspective of a bug.
Oscar loved learning about the Sacrament of Baptism. Alex kindly brought in the symbols of Baptism from his sister’s recent service. Alex confidently spoke about the meaning behind the holy water, holy oil, Baptismal candle and white blanket. P3 are learning about the Seven Sacraments at the moment so Alex started us off. Thank you Alex!
Daisy liked instruction writing about how to make Fair trade lemonade. We pretended to be writing to an alien so had to be very clear on the instructions and include lots of descriptive vocabulary.
Sophia shared that the highlight of her week was making the autumn mindfulness leaves for our display outside of the classroom. The children worked hard on these along with their autumn acrostic poems. Keep up the super work P3!
Maks and Dawid both agreed that PE was their favourite lesson. The class love playing bench ball. Next week we will continue with our ball skills using bat and balls.
My favourite highlight was having the opportunity to share with you how wonderful your children are and share their learning with you. We had a few tears from proud parents when we looked at their work together.
Congratulations to Laaibah our Reading Champion and Danvith, our hot chocolate award winner.
I hope you all enjoy the weekend.
