P6A Learning Update
What a wonderful week we’ve had in class!
This week’s highlight for the children was our outdoor learning session. We took a lovely walk to St. Peter’s where we gathered to say a Memorare and a Hail Mary. It was a peaceful and reflective moment, especially fitting for our Day of Prayer for Peace. The children showed such respect and calm during our visit, a beautiful reminder of how thoughtful they can be.
My own highlight this week has been continuing our work for Black History Month. We explored African-inspired patterns and began planning our own artwork inspired by these vibrant designs. The children already have so much knowledge and enthusiasm about this topic, and I can’t wait to see their creativity shine through in their finished pieces!
It was also lovely to meet so many families during our parent consultations. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend; it was wonderful to catch up, share how well the children have settled into the year, and talk about our plans ahead. Your support makes such a difference!
We’re looking forward to another exciting week of learning ahead!
