Primary 7A Learning Highlights 14/11/25

Dear Parents and Carers,

Primary 7 have had a productive week! We have started to revise for our SNSA assessments and have been working on fractions and how to simplify them using the highest common factor.  In literacy, we continued with our discussion writing based on the rainforests. We designed anti- bullying posters using colourful graphics and appropriate slogans for health and wellbeing and linked our work to the relevant children’s rights articles. Our class took a trip to the UFO site at  Dechmont Law. We researched the case and learnt that even after many years, it still remains one of the most important UFO encounters in the world !  During topic lessons, we used atlases to highlight the areas of the world where rainforests exist and appreciated how quickly they are diminishing!!   Here are some of our learning highlights:

” Outdoor Learning was fun!”  Logan

” We enjoyed our transition visit to the High School.” Pixie and Sophia

” Creating our rainforest posters was enjoyable.” Ameya and Zofia

” Learning about the grid method in multiplication was interesting.” Hamnah

” Creating our anti bullying poster and learning about the articles was fun!” Ishaan

Congratulations to Mason on being our reading champion for the next two weeks!

Congratulations to  Ailsa on being nominated for our hot chocolate award this week!

Have a super weekend.
