P7B Weekly Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

Here’s a quick update on what P7 were doing this week.

“This week we started reading a book called ‘Skellig’ by David Almond. It’s about a boy called Michael who finds a strnage person/creature in his garage,” said Daniel.

Layla said, “We start our new topic on the Scottish Election and created our own political parties. It was really fun creating our own group names. We gave people jobs such as speech writers and campaign manager and one person has to be the politician.”

“In PE, the Bleep Test was fine. It was super hard to do. Some people quit quite early but some lasted for lots of levels, I drank all my water from my water bottle,” said Ishani M.

Srihaun said, ” We’ve been learning Algebra in maths and we are making great progress. It seems that most of the people in our class are enjoying it.”

“On Thursday morning we went to Sky Academy, made posters about the Scottish Election using Adobe Express and made a news report about the election too,” said Benita.

Matteo said, “We had Outdoor Learning on Thursday afternoon and it was very fun. We used blindfolds for games like follow the leader, where the leader is not blindfolded but everyone else is. And ‘find the tree’ where you need to touch the tree blindfolded and memorise it and then try to find it.”

A very busy first week back!!!

Have a great weekend,

P7B and Mr McGurn
