WB 17th August 2026 - Primary 3 Weekly Highlights
Hello Everyone
We have had a great start to Primary 3 and have all settled back into school very well. We have had fun learning lots of new things.
In Writing we created imaginary houses after listening to the story ‘ A New Home for a Pirate’. We drew beautiful pictures and wrote our favourite things about the house we designed. We also wrote some summer acrostic poems.
In Maths we practised place value, tens and ones. We followed number sequences and shape patterns and learned how to divide.
In Health and Wellbeing we talked about our feelings and the zones of regulation. We learned about being a good friend and made lovely posters about them. We made ‘ourselves’ from lots of different materials and displayed these beautifully on our class charter. We made our own group names for our tables and created our class rules to help us to be Ready, Respectful and Safe.
We had fun learning Spanish colours and numbers through songs.
