Primary 1B Learning Highlights 21st August 2026

This week we have been learning all about ‘same’ and ‘different’ in Literacy. We matched up pictures that were the same and then found the odd one out on a worksheet. Our favourite part was listening to sounds to see if they were the same or different. The duck noise was very funny!

In Maths, we have been learning about 0 and 1. We have been trying hard to write them correctly and show the number using our finger patterns.

We have learned all about the different adults in school who help us and recognised lots of them.

Here are some of our personal highlights from this week:

Alan – I enjoyed playing with the Numberblocks.

Thomas – I enjoyed making models.

Ava – I enjoyed learning about same and different.

Cai – I enjoyed learning about loud and quiet.

Yahya – I enjoyed using the lego.

Congratulations to Millie who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. She has been very helpful and has been a great friend.
