This week in P1C

What a week we have had in P1C.

We started learning our first sound in phonics, m. We learned how to write the letter in upper and lower case. We used our cutting skills to make m monsters and had lots of fun feeding m words to the red monster.

We continued our learning on numbers with 4 and 5. We looked at ordering numbers and learned the vocabulary before and after. We love number songs to practice counting.

We started looking at Our Senses, with this weeks focus being the sense of touch. We learned the vocabulary for describing how different materials feel – smooth, hard, bumpy, soft, rough etc.

This week we learned about the red Zone of Regulation, concentrating on angry and scared. We thought about situations that make us feel these emotions and drew black line drawings for them. We then tried to write a sentence to go with our picture.
