Guide Dogs Visit P1

P1 had some special visitors today!  Not one but two guide dogs!  This was part of their learning about the sense of sight.  We heard all about what the invaluable work these working dogs do to support the blind and visually impaired build their independence both at home and out and about.

P1 were a super audience and had the opportunity to pet the dogs at the end.  The children know not to pet guide dogs when they see them at work in the community.

Well done P1 and a big thank you to Margaret Foster (a former SJO colleague) for organising the learning opportunity today.
