Dear Parents and Carers,

A shorter week this week with the Monday holiday so on Tuesday we had grammar work, writing planning, maths, topic and drama.

Wednesday we wrote our stories and maths was again the Sumdog competition, RME the sorrowful mysteries and we continued to work clearing the stairs to the woodlands, though the wasps didn’t thank us for that!

Thursday we are doing well with our class novel, Kensuke’s Kingdom, which we have a tripped planned for that more details will be coming from the office soon. More Sumdog, Rights as part of our Rights Respecting Schools programme, PE and HWB/Spanish with Mrs Callaghan.

Friday we did a little more Sumdog…

…which let us win Best Class in the School!

Then PE, a Prayer Service to St Matthew followed by an assembly in the hall about positive behaviour.

 

This week’s Lead Learner was Olivia who took home the Hot Chocolate at Home and he is followed by Caleb next week.

 

Next Tuesday we are Outdoors with ‘Kids Gone Wild’ 9-11.45am so make sure the children are properly dressed for the good Scottish weather.
