Primary 7a learning highlights 25.09.26

This week has been a lovely week for primary 7a.

We have had so much fun in our numeracy this week, we have been taking part in the Sumdog competition this week, it has been great to have some friendly competition between the upper area classes. Everyone has tried so hard and done their best for our class to succeed. I am so proud of everyone who has taken part.

For literacy this week, we have been looking at tricky plurals in spelling, and our grammar focus was similes. We also had some core target writing where the children used a stimulus to create a short story and assess with their core targets, our focus this week was on handwriting and presentation.

This week we finished our Japanese Pagodas, using oil pastels and smudging them to create a lovely background.

We got the chance to bake Malteser cake, the children did a great job and it looked very tasty!
