This week in P1C

This week in P1C we have learned so many things.

We learned the sound ‘a’ and had lots of fun cutting out and building an astronaut and making a ‘A’ alligator craft. We used the sound ‘a’ to build middle a sound words. We also wrote a fantastic sentence using the word ‘the’.

We read the story Handa’s Surprise and made a story map to retell the story. We also made our own fruit baskets by colouring in and cutting out different fruit.

In maths, we did lots of revision on writing numbers making sure they were the right way round. We also sequenced numbers in the correct order and focused on counting with one to one correspondence.

Olivia – I like to make crafts.

Samuel – I like writing numbers.

Falyn – I liked drawing.

Vikranth – I liked choosing our learning time.

Ruaridh – I like doing Danny Go.

Rosalia – I liked drawing and cutting.
