P2 Weekly Highlights wb 28/9/26

Hello everyone, we have had a lovely week in Primary 2 and can’t wait to tell you all about it! 

In Writing we have started our Poetry unit. We are focusing on the 5 senses! We went outside into the wind and used our senses to think about what we could see, hear, feel, taste and smell. We then gathered these ideas into a word bank! 

In Music, we started learning about beats and practiced clapping to the beat. We were all did a fantastic job at this! 

In Health and Wellbeing we spoke about different emotions and explored what we can do when we experience these feelings. 

In maths, we finished our shape unit by making 3d shapes using cocktail sticks and marshmallows. We worked well together and had so much fun! 

Our Weekly Highlights 

Amelia L – I liked learning about the colours in Spanish. 

Aayat – I liked making 3d shapes with marshmallows. 

Arire- I liked playing hide and seek in the woodlands. 

Ini – I liked playing games outside. 

Freya – I liked playing banana tig in PE. 

 

Our hot chocolate winner this week is Aria! Well done Aria for always going above and beyond.
