Primary 1B Learning Highlights
This week we have been learning the sound ‘n’ and the common word ‘my’. We have been reading lots of words and trying to match the pictures.
In Maths, we have been learning to order numbers correctly. We did a cut and stick activity to put the numbers in the correct order and then played the caterpillar game to help us practise.
In Topic, we became Palaeontologists for the day and learned about fossils. We used paint brushes to hunt for fossils in the sand tray.
In RE, we said thank you to God for Autumn and made some beautiful Autumn artwork.
We have been learning all about the fire pit safety rules during Outdoor Learning and then enjoyed making conker soup in the mud kitchen, climbing trees and finding the fairy doors.
Here are some of our personal highlights from this week:
Alan – I enjoyed drawing a cute pumpkin.
Moses – I enjoyed doing numbers.
Maya – I enjoyed learning the fire pit safety rules.
Ava – I enjoyed drawing.
Congratulations to Freddie who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. He tries hard in all his tasks and is always helpful.
