P2 Weekly Highlights WB 12/10/26
Hello everyone, we are so excited to tell you all about our week in Primary 2!
Today, we attended Mass, followed by a well deserved treat day! After working so hard this term, we enjoyed some extra playtime with skipping ropes, chalk and lots of fun games.
In outdoor learning, we headed to the woodlands and had a fantastic time exploring the mud kitchen, building dens and playing with all the different toys.
In topic, we have been very busy! Last week we used junk modelling to create toys from the past. This week, we created mini people with outfits inspired by 90s fashion.
In Literacy, our focus has been on the ‘ai’ and ’ay’ sounds. We have been working very hard practicing these sounds.
In PE, we have been practising our balance and coordination skills by balancing bean bags. We had lots of fun with these challenges!
Our Weekly Highlights
Lillie-Belle – I liked making the dens outside.
Marley – I liked going to the woodlands.
Hanna- I liked having extra break.
Andy – I liked PE.
Alfie – I liked playing outside with my friends.
Grace – I liked practicing our doubles in maths.
Marcel – I liked going outside to make dens.
Lincoln – I liked making our mini people.
Amelia L- I liked going to Mass.
Our hot chocolate winner this week is Marley! Well done Marley for always going above and beyond.
