Primary 7 Learning Highlights 6/11/26

Primary 7 have had a busy week !

In Numeracy we learned how to find percentages  of a given amount. We also  learned about coordinates and plotted points on a grid. Our class continued to practise our ” rock tables! ”

In literacy, we continued our core writing based om a fire work picture . We also studied alliteration and made our own examples repeating , the first consonant of each letter. We read a passage about turtles and answered various questions from the text.

In topic, we studied the rainforest and practised taking notes from a video clip. We used our notes and research to create PowerPoints in pairs.

We went to Deans woods for outdoor learning, where we used natural products to create pictures from a plan we had designed in class earlier in the week.

On Friday  Mrs Munroe came to speak to us about transition to St Margaret’s  We were allowed to ask lots of questions and  it was very interesting!

Congratulations to Iyanu on being our hot chocolate winner this week!
