Primary 2 Weekly Highlights wb 2/11/26
It has been a very busy week for Primary 2!
We started our new topic, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch.’ We read the story, learnt about the different parts of a lighthouse and even created our very own lighthouses using kitchen roll tubes!
We also learned about bonfire safety and created our own firework art using oil pastels.
In maths, we started learning how to use our squared maths jotters and how to set out our calculations correctly!
In writing, we learned all about adjectives and worked hard to identify them in sentences.
Our Weekly Highlights
Igancy- I liked the firework art
Monika- Building the lighthouses
Lincoln- Tig in PE
Ini- Learning about adjectives
Our hot chocolate winner this week is Freya. Well done for all your hard work, Freya!
Have a fantastic weekend!
